RE: Settlement of “Limited Liability” Case #10K18049

Dear Judge Edmon:

On Monday, December 20, 2010, my Mom and I appeared in Department 77 of the Stanley Mosk Court, Los Angeles. I was advised to appear for hearing on January 27, 2011, by the court room clerk in Department 77 at 8:30 A. M..  

On January 27, 2011 at 8:30 a.m., I Michael L. Lofton and my, Mom, Mrs. Esther M. Lofton appeared in department 77 of the Superior Court of California at Los Angeles where the judge of court of record is the Honorable Steven J. Kleifield for the hearing which took place between 10:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. on January 27, 2011. The Attorneys for the plaintiffs, Brian N. Winn, John E. Gordon, Naimi Rust and Stephen S.  Zeller did not appear in court, and did not call in via speaker-phone.   Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas, nor any representative of the City of Los Angeles, or the County of Los Angeles appeared for this hearing, even though each was served by mail on January 19, 2011 by Rhonda Walker, a self-identified honorably discharged American veteran.

Prior to the hearing for Case #10K18049, in another case the opposing party or parties did not show. Judge Steven J. Kleifield stated to the party or parties that appeared, when a party or parties do not show, the opposing party or parties who appear have the

option to fill out and file a default claim against the party or parties who did not appear.

I too have this same right.

I attempted to present:

Ø Pages 1 and 2 of the Notice of Hearing on Demurrer of Defendant Michael L. Lofton to Complaint of Plaintiffs HSBC Bank Nevada, N.A. fks Household Bank (SB) N.A. served on the plaintiffs, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, and 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas and filed with court, which the court stated it not only had but received the $40 fee. 

I therefore enclose:

Ø Case #10K180, Limited Liability Case, (Proposed) Judgment and Order

for the following reasons:

(1)          There are no issues in dispute (Cases #10K18049….. There is no dispute here, when the LADWP (BC385899), the County of Los Angeles (895188), make good on its' debt to the Mrs. & Mrs. Leon E. Lofton, Jr. family and Michael L. Lofton (BC 385899)…earned retirement benefits, etcetc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc.,  wrongdoing by the LADWP .......then the debt owed to Home Depot/HSBC Nevada N.A. fka HOUSEHOLD BANK (SB) N.A. will be paid.

(2)          The court lacks the power or right to over-rule the demurrer as served and entered

(3)          Article VI, Section 19, CC states that the court must settle the matter as submitted or he may not be paid for the office held.

It is a huge misnomer that liberal Democratic Party controlled jurisdictions are the vanguard for the little guy or gal!

………….If you are a senior citizen,  this includes elderly Black women too,pull the plug on grandma (Thank You Sarah Palin, conservatives, the Republican Party, and/or  Tea Party members)” is promoted in the City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County 2nd District, because anything goes in the inner-city………..

…… that annual Martin Luther King Day celebration and tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, must be meaningless because in the very liberal Democratic jurisdictions where this day is celebrated or Dr. King is honored……

……….. Jim Crow law enforcement, disregard for the rule of law and our Constitution are promoted day in and day out

On Wednesday, January 19, 2011, LADWP Water Utility Workers disconnected the water meter, and plugged the utility water supply side, without notifying the owner, Michael L. Lofton, and/or my Mom, Mrs. Esther M. Lofton.   It was also stated the Michael L. Lofton, is a 30 year employee of the LADWP of qualifying age, whose LADWP retirement benefits, this being a primary source of income, are being held without cause, while the LADWP disconnects electric and water from our residence for failure to pay utility bills to the LADWP.   At least two LADWP Water utility supervisors were contacted but in any case nothing registered.   This is but one more experience that shows or proves that black people in a position of responsibility, such as Mr. Greg WilliamsLADWP Water Utility Supervisor, Ms. Tanya Franklin, LADWP Customer Service Representative Supervisor, 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas, and/or others, have no regard for the property rights/Constitutional rights of U.S. born Black people.
...........between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. utility workers employed by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power removed the water meter and capped the main water line without notice, without knocking on our door, etc.,

……which amounts to trespassing.
Without utility supplied water, a homeowner, resident, and/or tenant(s) are forced to buy bottled drinking water, you can’t use the toilet, the bathtub, bath, cook, make use of an electric clothes washer, etc.  
 .......Not to mention the LADWP continues to hold my retirement benefits of the owner of this property, the owner being me, Michael L. Lofton.  My Mom  lives with me and she is eighty years of age.

Today, my Mom called the emergency 911 number to make this known.  I had to gather water from other sources to make it possible for life to continue as usual.  Upon returning home, my Mom stated that she was given the run around by individuals on the supervisorial level within the LAPD, the LADWP, the Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Vilaraigosa’s office, etc.   The response from LAPD representatives was to contact the LADWP.   She followed this advice and LADWP supervisors or other  employees,  kept her or hold and did nothing, gave her the run around, or suggested that she contact the Mayor’s office.  Upon contacting the Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa’s office she was advised to contact the LADWP…….

So glad Governor Jerry Brown is downsizing our state government in California.   Far too often be it city, county, state, federal level jurisdiction, employees, and/or elected officials……

…….these individuals, meaning government employees, elected officials, etc., etc., show no regard for the rights of property taxpaying citizens like me, and/or his or her loved ones, such as my Mom.   

It sure would be grand if I could pull the plug on paying Federal, State taxes, and/or Los Angeles County property taxes, like these government employees have chosen to contribute to  “pull the plug on grandma” pertaining to my Mom, while LADWP employee or employees disconnect my utilities and concurrently hold or attempt to cheat me out of the retirement benefits due a 30 year employee of qualifying age former LADWP employee.  

The day of reckoning is near, because on 8:30 A.M. , in Division 77, on January 27, 2011, the Stanley Mosk Angeles Superior Court, 111 N. Hill Street, the truth in Los Angeles Superior Court Cases 895188 and BC 385899, and/or other truths, will again uncloak the reality of day to day Jim Crow law enforcement that is alive and well in Los Angeles County and beyond.

Honorably discharged combat infantry Veterans of a Foreign War during the draft years , such as my Dad, Leon E. Lofton, Jr., were left with the mandate of serving or face prison time for refusing to serve, meaning “pulling the plug on the mandated draft” meant prison time and much, much, much less than dishonorable discharge.  Should you doubt this look no further than Mohammad Ali’s punishment for refusing to serve during the Vietnam War draft era. 

Unfortunately for me, the penalty for non-payment of State and Federal taxes is income tax evasion which mean criminal prosecution, stiff fines and prison time.  The penalty for defaulting on LA County property taxes, can result in a tax lien being placed against the property.

Misfit Liberal Democratic Party Elected Leaders, Namely the Congressional Black Caucus Disregard for the Constitution is the Problem!

"I enjoyed reading this post, as well as a couple of others. I have wondered why black people won't buck their leadership and say they are being hurt the most with illegal immigration. Illegals mostly settle into inner cities, but even when they don't they take up blue collar jobs such as construction. I know why black leadership are for illegal immigration as well as keeping black people down... so they can keep their positions of power. No one is going to listen to a word Sharpton says if things are doing well in the black community."

What difference does it make which version of the Constitution is read, when in contemporary years there is only one U.S. Constitution that we are all bound to live by?.   U.S. born Black men, women, and/or his or her siblings, were not even considered citizens until the 13th and 14th amendment came into being as part of the U.S. Constitution. 

I’m pleased to see Republican/Conservative elected officials read the Constitution aloud to multiple members of the Liberal Democratic Party.    Far too many elected officials, pertaining to the Congressional Black Caucus, and/or liberal Democratic Party elected officials who hold or have held elected office, show little or no regard for the U.S. Constitution, the principles of government of the United States, etc. etc.  

I’m willing to bet many Democratic Party members, especially the Democratic Congressional Black Caucus and/or liberal Democrat Party elected officials, whose career in government is mandated to support the “rule of law” have shunned the U.S. Constitution, the “Bill of Rights”, the Declaration of Independence, etc., etc. 

It is more important that every elected official uphold his or her sworn duty to respect the U.S. Constitution, and/or any respective State Constitution.   By and large elected Black leaders affiliated with the liberal segment of the Democratic Party, be it of local, county, state, and/or federal jurisdiction show little if any regard for the U.S. Constitution and/or any State Constitution.  . Elected Black leaders such as President Barack Obama, and/or multiple members of the Congressional Black Caucus….more likely the Congressional Black Caustic……

A.    Based upon breaking up generations of the law abiding U.S. born Black family for profit.

B.    Dishonoring the rights of honorably discharged Black Veterans, such as my Dad, Leon E. Lofton, Jr., and others.

C.   Playing games of deceit and/or gerrymandering to keep disgraceful elected officials in office.

D.   Promote “Black Code Law Enforcement”

E.   Promote the survival and prosperity of criminals, illegal immigrants, and subversives.

F.    Drive into extinction, any prospect to promote the survival and prosperity of law abiding U.S. born Black men, women, and/or his or her siblings.

G.   Keep U.S. born Black men, women, and/or his or her siblings heavily dependent on welfare, and unemployed or unemployable.

It would seem that if there were anything above the partisan political fray, the reading of the Constitution, the nation’s highest law, would be on that pedestal.

But apparently even that isn't above politics. Republicans in the House of Representatives flexed their new political muscle with a multiple-hour, line-by-line reading of the Constitution. It was the first time that such a reading had taken place publicly in the chamber and it fulfilled a campaign pledge pushed by the GOP’s conservative wing and the ‘ tea party” movement.

The action was designed both as political theater and a reminder to the nation’s lawmakers of what conservatives see as the nation’s founding principles that back a strict constructionist view of a limited government. It is the vision of limited government that Republicans see as one of their touchstones for the new Congress.

But the recitation of the Constitution was a chance for Democrats to score points while piously praising the historicity of the Constitution. They initially questioned whether the document would be read in full in its original language or in its amended form.

In its original form, the Constitution included sections such as the Three-Fifths Compromise, designed to increase the power of the slave-holding states by allowing slaves to be counted toward the allocation of congressmen, even though slaves were seen as property and obviously couldn’t vote. Nor could women vote in those times when all men, except slaves, were created equal.

Slavery, and its political implications, led to the Civil War, of course. But even in its time, it was so divisive that noted abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison took the Constitution to task.  "The United States Constitution is a covenant with death and an agreement with hell" became the motto on his journal, Liberator.

Current House Democrats, such as Chicago’s Jesse Jackson Jr., questioned which version of the Constitution would be read on Thursday, arguing that the original showed how far the nation had come through amending and reinterpreting the Constitution to reflect the evolution of society.

"The new Republican majority and their redacted constitutional reading gives little deference to the long history of improving the Constitution and only seeks an interpretation of our Constitution based on the now, not the historic, broad body of law and struggle that it has taken to get there. It leaves out the need to continue to refine the Constitution so that we have a more perfect union,” he stated.

That principle, sharply at odds with the GOP’s, is part of the Democrats’ vision of government as a growing entity that should have a role in dealing with the nation’s problems.

As the reading of the amended version went on for several hours, there was at least one outburst from the gallery as a person interrupted to say Obama wasn’t born in the United States, hence was constitutionally barred from being president. No effort, including the release of his birth certificate,  by President Obama has dispelled the false rumors of his birth that continue to have traction with the so-called birther movement.

“First interruption of the reading from the Gallery. By a birther, screaming about Obama. Unintended consequences,” Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.) tweeted from the House floor.

Innocence Project, the Solution to All the Above Mandate Respect for the U.S. Constitution, the Rule of Law, and/or respective State Constitution!

One or more Black men who are honorably discharged disabled combat Veterans of a foreign war (WWII), Innocent Black men, women, and/or his or her siblings, have also been the subject of blatant U.S. and respective California Constitutional very serious violations and causes, such as:

A.   “Unequal Justice and Protection Under the Law”, as proven by Los Angeles Superior Court cases C895188, BC 385899, and BS 121571.

B.   The break-up of the traditional Black family structure FOR profit through governmental misconduct and fraud, in Los Angeles County. (multiple members of the Mr. and Mrs. Leon E. Lofton, Jr. family unit, and/or other individuals to be specific)

C.   Placing minors including infants on probation due to government employee misconduct in Los Angeles County. (multiple members of the Mr. and Mrs. Leon E. Lofton, Jr. family unit)

D.   Penal incarceration and fines without due process, legal authority, and/or government misconduct in Los Angeles County. (Carl Steadman, “Theft by Court”, multiple members of the Mr. and Mrs. Leon E. Lofton, Jr. family unit)

E.   Punishment without good cause, ruining the work record,  and stellar reputation, of a law abiding long standing property taxpaying, 30 year employee of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, City of Los Angeles. (For reference Los Angeles Superior Court Case BC 385899 and related Los Angeles Superior Court case BS 121571)

F.    Denying or reducing earned property such as retirement and/or other benefits earned based on government misconduct, perjury, and fraud in the City of Los Angeles, specifically the LADWP. (For reference Los Angeles Superior Court Case BC 385899 and related Los Angeles Superior Court case BS 121571)

G.   Wanton disregard for the U.S. Constitution, California Constitution by elected officials sworn under oath and mandated by law to uphold the U.S. Constitution and respective California Constitutions. …Fixing the system, in every case, be it as outlined in A through G above,

…….. or as documented by the many cases of unwarranted prison or death sentences regarding Innocence Project work and DNA evidence to exonerate the innocent,

……..more than any other remedy requires upholding the principles to which this nation stands, and the “rule of law” as outlined in the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the “Bill of Rights”, the California Constitution, and/or other State Constitutions.

LONG ROADS TO FREEDOM

Numerous Inmates from multiple jurisdictions throughout the U.S., who have been freed after their convictions turned out to have been based on faulty evidence:

Joseph Lamont Abbitt:Joseph Lamont Abbitt was exonerated on September 2, 2009 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, after serving 14 years in prison for two rapes he didn't commit. He was convicted based in part on eyewitness misidentifications.

Kenneth AdamsKenneth Adams was exonerated on July 2, 1996, after serving 17.5 years of a 75 year sentence for Murder and Rape He was convicted based in part on eyewitness misidentifications, false confessions, and invalid or improper forensic science.

Marvin AndersonMarvin Anderson was exonerated after serving 15 years of a 210 year sentence for Murder, Abduction, Sodomy, and Rape.  He was convicted based in part on eyewitness misidentifications, government misconduct, and incompetent legal counsel representation.

Antonio BeaverAntonio Beaver was exonerated after serving 10 years of a 18 year sentence for first degree robbery.  He was convicted based on eyewitness misidentification.

Kennedy BrewerKennedy Brewer was exonerated after serving 7 years on Death row in Mississippi, for Capital Murder and Sexual Battery He was convicted based on government misconduct, and invalid or improper forensic science.

Michael Anthony Green: Michael Anthony Green was exonerated after serving 27 years of a 75 year 1983 sentence for the rape of a Houston woman He was convicted based on faulty eyewitness identification,

• Allen Wayne Porter: Released last Friday after serving 19 years for a June 1980 rape conviction. Though DNA testing appeared to clear him in 2004, it was not until last week that a judge ordered him freed after those who committed the crime testified Porter was not involved.

• Ernest Sonnier: Released Aug. 7, 2009, after serving 23 years for the 1985 abduction and rape of an Alief woman. DNA testing implicated two con-victed felons as the actual perpetrators. Sonnier was released pending further investigation by the Harris County District Attorney's office.

• Gary Alvin Richard: Released April 30, 2009, after serving more than 22 years of a life sentence on kidnapping, rape and robbery convictions. Forensic tests confirmed incriminating testimony a crime lab supervisor offered at Richard's trial was false. Although he was released, the case against him remains.

• Ricardo Rachell: Released in December 2008 after serving nearly six years of a 40-year prison term in a sexual assault conviction. Cleared by DNA evidence collected in 2002 but not examined until last year. In January, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals overturned his conviction, clearing the way for him to apply for a pardon on the basis of actual innocence.

• Ronald Gene Taylor: Released in October 2007 after serving 14 years of a 60-year rape sentence. DNA testing on the rape victim's bedsheet revealed that another man with a history of sexual violence had committed the crime.

• George Rodriguez: Released in 2004 after serving 17 years in prison for a kidnapping and rape conviction. In June 2009, a federal jury awarded Rodriguez $5 million, finding the city should pay for its "deliberate indifference" to problems at the crime lab.

Josiah Sutton: Released in March 2003 after serving 4½ years of a 25-year sentence for a rape conviction. DNA tests discredited those performed by the crime lab. Gov. Rick Perry granted him a pardon on the basis of innocence, rather than a lesser "full" pardon, in May 2004.

Kory Wise: Korey Wise was exonerated on December 19, 2002, after  being sentenced in 1980 and serving eleven and a half years of 15 year sentence for assault, sexual assault He was convicted based on false confessions, false evidence, and invalid forensic science.

James Lee Woodard: James Lee Woodard was exonerated on September 30, 2009, after serving 27 years of a life sentence for Murder He was convicted based on eyewitness misidentification, and government misconduct.

(A abbreviated listing of numerous individuals, with last names beginning with virtually every letter of the alphabet, many being U.S. born Black men, in jurisdictions throughout the U.S., who have been sentenced to prison based on invalid evidence, eyewitness misidentifications, incompetent legal counsel, governmental corruption, etc., etc.   Thanks to the Innocence Project and DNA evidence these individuals have been, will be, and/or are now being exonerated.)

...... does not even mention the 92nd Infantry Division the only ground combat trained and actual combat fighting unit of actual (U.S. born Black Soldiers) Buffalo Soldiers during WWII.

..........meaning great risks were taken by many who actually fought for the principles to which this nation stands, namely our U.S. Constitution........

The Game is Up President Obama, Liberal Democrats and the Like!

Andre Showell of BET asked President Barack Obama about African American Unemployment:

As the entire nation tries to climb out of this deep recession, in communities of color, the circumstances are far worse, the black unemployment rate, as you know, is in the double digits. And in New York City, for example, the black unemployment rate for men is near 50 percent. My question to you tonight is: given this unique and desperate circumstance, what specific policies can you point to that will target these communities and what’s the timetable for us to see tangible results?

President Obama:  Well, keep in mind that every step we're taking is designed to help all people.  But folks who are most vulnerable are most likely to be helped because they need the most help.  So when we passed the Recovery Act, for example, and we put in place provisions that would extend unemployment insurance or allow you to keep your health insurance, even if you've lost your job, that probably disproportionately impacted those communities that had lost their jobs.

And unfortunately the African American community and the Latino community are probably overrepresented in those ranks.  When we put in place additional dollars for community health centers to ensure that people are still getting the help that they need, or we expand health insurance to millions more children through the Children's Health Insurance Program -- again, those probably disproportionately impact African American and Latino families simply because they're the ones who are most vulnerable.  They've got higher rates of uninsured in their communities.

So my general approach is that if the economy is strong, that will lift all boats -- as long as it is also supported by, for example, strategies around college affordability, and job training, tax cuts for working families as opposed to the wealthiest, that level the playing field and ensure bottom-up economic growth.  And I'm confident that that will help the African American community live out the American Dream, at the same time that it's helping communities all across the country.

President Obama: Immigration Reform and Dream Act Speech…..I will not walk away from the fight…primarily in behalf of Hispanic Illegal Immigrants and the Hispanic Congressional Caucus.  

…….President Barack Obama steps up to the plate to promote rights for namely Hispanic illegal immigrants but when an appeal is directed to President Obama to:

1.  Tackle high unemployment in the Black community.

2. Respect the rule of law (Arizona Bill 1070, Federal Immigration Law).

3. Live by his sworn oath and mandated by law duty to honor the U.S. Constitution for all U.S. citizens, law abiding U.S. born black men, women, and/or his or her siblings being inclusive…..

…… in contrast President Obama lumps law abiding U.S. born Black men, women, and/or his or her siblings, in with the Hispanic community, most of the Hispanics being criminal illegal immigrants and not U.S. citizens.

…........all while ignoring petitions for redress from law abiding U.S. born Black men, women, and/or his or her siblings egregiously violated by the atrocities of a government seriously gone awry, which amount to Taxation without Competent Representation.

…Talks down to U.S. born Black men as being unfit Fathers, etc., etc.

…blame the demise of the Black community on the Conservatives, the Republican Party, Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Fox News, etc., etc., all of this lacking factual basis.

…..declares Arizona Bill 1070 as being misguided. Arizona Bill 1070 mirrors Federal Immigration Law.

.......and Democratic liberal affiliated organizations, such as the California Democratic Party, The Minority News, or other Democratic affiliated organizations,  never bother to even check the actual party affiliation of the typical Black electorate, as if to say, if you are a Black voter, then you are without a doubt a Democrat and liberal.

In contrast,
Republican organizations and individuals, truly check or research a registered voter's party affiliation  before mailing Republican Party oriented or Conservative minded material to any voter.    

With good reason, namely, "Taxation without Competent Representation", better than fifteen years ago,  I changed party affiliation from being a longstanding Democrat to being registered as a Republican…….   

…........after all the Democratic Party, namely the liberal segment of the Democratic Party, has proven itself time and time again, day in and day out, 24-7, to be the “Premier Political Party of Slavery", no good members of the Democatic Party promote policies designed to break-up law abiding U.S. born Black families for profit , "Jim Crow to the Power of Infinity", and/or "Black Code Law Enforcement" based policy.

With respect to "Obama Drives Home a Get Out the Vote Message", "Black Voter Turnout in the Spotlight", "It is Time to Protect Our Interests, the Tea Party, Republican Party/Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, etc., are not Friends of the Black Community" as published by the Los Angeles Wave Newspaper, West Edition, October 28, 2010,  to namely beg Black voters to save Obama, the Democratic Party, to keep no good elected Black leaders and/or other no good liberal Democratic Party affliliated leaders gainfully employed, so these individuals won't be facing the high unemployment rate that many U.S. born Black men, and women have experienced for decades.........

President Barack Obama, and/or other liberal Democrats such as Senator Barbara Boxer, San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris, Assemblywoman Karen Bass, 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas, et al, only concern is to keep no good elected liberal Democratic Party leaders from becoming unemployed, due to mandated term limits for the length of time an elected official can hold office.

.........For decades the Democratic Party has taken Black people for granted, and thus far, far too many registered voters, who are U.S. born and Black, kiss up to the Democratic Party, even to his or her own, and/or the Black community's own demise.  

….....this being said, If I were you, Black electorate, stay home, vote Republican, or vote for a Conservative Democratic  candidate in November.  (Conservative anything are not in the Un-Constitutional, trashing the "rule of law", "Obamacrat, doomed for failure", Jim Crow oriented, "Dream Act and Anchor Baby Saving" promoting, ant-Free Enterprise, take property from those who earned it to give to the freeloaders, un-American,  promoting amnesty for millions of criminal illegal immigrants, Constitutional rights for known terrorists, issuing "Get out of Jail Free Cards" for misfits camp)

On a classroom wall of the Barry J. Nidorf Juvenile Hall where Los Angeles County houses — and is supposed to help — juvenile offenders, there is a sign that reads "No Reading Newspapers, No Cell Phone Use and No Alcohol Consumption During Class."

The message is for the staff.

The sign was posted after the Department of Justice found serious problems with the county's Department of Probation, including staff members drinking on the job and retaliating against whistle-blowers. The problems were so widespread that, in a 2004 memorandum of agreement, Justice Department officials required the Probation Department to "ensure that staff … do not maintain or consume alcohol at the camps" or "threaten and intimidate youth who report … mistreatment."

Six years later, the department has even bigger problems. Employees have been charged with sexually exploiting the youths in their custody, pepper-spraying them inappropriately and staging fights between kids.

After a decade of federal prodding, multiple civil rights lawsuits, muzzled warnings from the L.A. County Commission for Children and Families, deflected whistle-blower actions, dozens of unheeded Boardof Supervisorsresolutions and a spate of embarrassing news articles, the Probation Department's malpractice continues. Which means children in county custody are still committing suicide, dying from untreated illnesses, being "jumped" into gangs at the camps, receiving "diplomas" while still illiterate, being held in solitary confinement without needed mental health treatment and cycling directly into adult prison. As Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas recently revealed, the department even fails to feed its wards meals that meet minimal state nutrition requirements.

In August, new leadership at the Probation Department released an impressive, if disturbing, assessment that confirmed the extent of the dysfunction. It noted a lack of hiring standards, ineffective discipline, unsuitable staff, inadequate data systems, managers without authority, corruption in promotions and work rules that maximize staff convenience but damage operations. The assessment concluded that the department needed to "return to the basics."

But that's like recommending Mel Gibson attend a session with Miss Manners. The problems are so profound that, in my opinion, the department's new leaders need outside help to overhaul and replace the current culture. Among their recent findings is that staff need to learn "the expectation of 40 hours of work in a workweek," and "the consequences of failing to adhere to policies." It's hard to imagine solving such problems that deeply rooted without outside intervention.

For decades, the county Board of Supervisors' oversight has been ineffective, hiring standards lax and training inadequate. Employees have refused to collect data, conduct assessments or perform evaluations. Too many kids are locked up, and the idea of rehabilitating them was never effectively embraced. The department is organized to serve staff needs rather than those of the kids in its care, and the resulting culture of entitled indolence shields incompetence, shuns excellence and sinks the good employees struggling to do a good job.

If this all sounds familiar, it should. The county presided over a similar disintegration of mission with Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center. As far back as the 1970s, some of King/Drew's best nurses were sounding the alarm, demanding the removal of incompetent colleagues who were endangering patients. Instead, the county transferred the good nurses and left the incompetent ones in place. Some 30 years later, King/Drew's emergency facility was mismanaged into closure and the Board of Supervisors was finally forced to cede control over a new hospital to independent medical professionals.

So, why does the county continue to allow institutions to sink to such depths?

The County of Los Angeles, the nation's largest local government, is a world unto itself. Its huge, cubicle-filled departments are reactive and risk-averse. This sclerotic mind-set limits action to "inside factors" that bureaucrats can control from their desks. A refusal to deal with "outside factors" — say, the gangs operating in juvenile detention facilities — means that not only are problems rarely solved but, as one expert in child development noted, new ones are created: "The county grows a lot of the worst kids from inside its own departments."

The county's departments operate as fiefdoms, competing for funding and votes from the Board of Supervisors. Cross-department cooperation is so rare that when the Probation Department and the Department of Children and Family Services — two agencies that ought to be in constant contact — worked together to keep a family intact, it generated a Section A article in this paper.

Because transparency might bring embarrassment and more inept micromanaging from the board, departments are opaque, seemingly unable to produce such simple information as the number of employees in a given program. The supervisors, lacking information, try to exert control through budgets and interfering in departmental hiring, operations and policies. Not every county department has probation's level of dysfunction, but the big departments that deal with poor children all tend to bury problems to avoid the supervisors' wrath. Bringing in new managers at the top of the Probation Department will definitely not be enough.

It's time for outside intervention. Because the county has shown itself unable to protect the basic civil rights of the children in its care, the situation demands deeper and more aggressive intervention by the Justice Department. Just as with the resurrection of King/Drew, expanded federal supervision must empower outside professionals to help the new leaders create a functioning Probation Department.

In addition, voters need to create a child-safety enforcement and accountability unit that has the power to publish data and enforce the well-being of the county's most vulnerable kids without micromanaging by supervisors. As taxpayers investing more than $630 million a year in the Probation Department, we must demand child safety and fully rehabilitated youth, and end this abysmal revolving door of danger and abuse.

Councilman Bernard Parks, Like Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas, etc., are Unfit for Public Office!

Dear Mr. Parks:

            You were once the Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) with the responsibility for executing and enforcing the constitution and law. You are now a legislator in a political arena, commonly referred to as the land of the possible. In a petition dated 08-21-10, I wrote you that my son Michael L. Lofton, a thirty (30) year employee at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is being deprived of all his retirement benefits in the absence of cause.

            Does your silence and lack of action say that to deny my son his retirement, without cause, is not a crime? Or are you saying that if a crime has been committed the criminal must be the black male, Michael L. Lofton?

            If either of the above conclusions is what you are saying or thinking it comes as no loss to law-abiding citizens in Los Angeles County, like me, that you are not now Supervisor of the 2nd District of the County of Los Angeles, individuals with all powers (executive, legislative and judicial). To have powers you will not exert for law-abiding constituents, including black, is a waste.

            How tragic since 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas is a total disaster!

Theft by Court details how an innocent Black man, specifically Carl Steadman, is involved in a minor traffic accident, to where Carl Steadman is the victim, victimized by another driver cited for illegal backing, as documented by the actual traffic collision report 1998080109 and Vehicle Code 22106.  The female perpetrator leaves the scene of the accident, to commit felony hit and run, both the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the California Highway Patrol,  former Culver City and Inglewood Municipal Courts, are fully aware of Carl Steadman's innocence, yet blatant fraud on the part of government and the Los Angeles County Court system frees a felony hit and run driver, and illegally and unwarrantedly convicts, jails and fines, Carl Steadman, of battery, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license,  etc. (Inglewood Municipal Court Case #8IW7573).

Councilman Bernard Parks has been contacted on more than one occasion about Carl Steadman, illegal activity that took place within the 8th District, the 8th District being Councilman Bernard Park’s district.

Can a quadriplegic walk a block without the aid of artificial legs or crutches?   It is just as impossible for a law abiding citizen to pay his debts when government withholds assets belonging to another without just cause.

"There are cases when an individual has been wrongfully treated by his government andabout the only way, unless the individual resorts to court, and even in some cases the courtsare not able to give proper relief, the only area or avenue open to the individual is throughhis representative.  When you find a bona fide error has been made, I suggest that you makea maximum effort to remedy it.  This I feel is a vital and important function of those of us inthe House of Representatives."


Authors:  Donald G. Tacheron and Morris K. Udall, from the book entitled "The Job of the Congressman", pages 65 and 66.  (This important duty applies to all elected officials, all government employees, and all U.S. citizens)

Article 1, Section 7, of the California Constitution states:  " A person may not be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law or denied equal protection of the laws...." and Article 1, Section 26 states: " The provisions of the constitution are mandatory and prohibitory, unless by express words they are declared to be otherwise".

……..meaning it is crystal clear to anyone who comprehends the written as to the primary function of any elected official and the role of government to its’  law abiding citizens. 

Elected Black leaders affiliated with the Democratic Party, such as President Barack Obama, 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas, 10th City Council Herb Wesson, Congresswoman Diane Watson, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, etc., etc., all being black elected officials affiliated with the Democratic Party, still don’t get it, meaning these individuals are disgraceful, inept, and have more than just a few screws loose in the old noggin.

Amendment XIIINeither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Amendment XIV,  Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

In spite of the falsehoods and lies that lack factual basis sent my direction by LADWP management personnel, or Deputy City Attorney Lisa Berger, I’m a thirty year Los Angeles City employee with a clean record and stellar reputation, whose retirement and other benefits are being held without good cause. The LADWP continues to hold my retirement benefits and other benefits without just cause.

I met with attorney Gary Casselman, a prominent successful “Civil attorney” in the Los Angeles area, for his expertise in acquiring a substantial sum of earned insurance benefits from a 30 year paid up life insurance policy, and this too, has not materialized.  

I hired attorney Ricky Ivie, a prominent Black attorney in the Los Angeles, who did absolutely nothing for the legal fees received. Attorney Ricky Ivie has to be reported to the authorities, the result being virtually all legal fees were returned.

In most criminal proceedings, court decisions and swift penalties targeting Black men who are in violation of the law are signed by the judge of court of  record . 

In other instances, to where the government has egregiously violated the law to take property, jail, fine, destroy the reputation, violate the lawful right to gainful employment, hold retirement benefits, etc ., of law abiding U.S. citizens such as Leon E. Lofton, Jr., Mrs. Esther M. Lofton,  Michael Lofton, the Lofton Family, Carl Steadman, etc.,  as documented by Los Angeles Superior Court Cases BC 385899, C895188, BS121571, which is proven egregious failure or stalling to disrespect the rule of law, the U.S. Constitution, the California Constitution,  all with the blessing of Black America’s brain dead no good Democratic Party affiliated elected black leaders.    The Democratic Party the so-called vanguard for the oppressed, etc., etc., meaning the Democratic Party specifically through this misfit group of elected Black leaders and/or others, are not about fairness and equity, but rather, the Democratic Party is indeed strongly “Jim Crow and Black Code law enforcement” oriented.

As reality would have it, as it concerns the courts, civil litigation, any petition for redress for the wrongs of a government seriously gone awry, the only individuals who have competently served my best interests have been my Dad, Mom, and I.  

I’m a law abiding black man. I play by the rules and abide by the law to uphold the rule of law to protect my property rights, lawful rights, reputation, etc. This cannot be said or proven for Black elected officials paid with taxpayer’s dollars,  sworn under oath and mandated by law to uphold the Constitutional rights of all U.S. citizens, law abiding U.S. born Black men, women, and/or his or her siblings being inclusive.    “Brain Dead” elected Black leaders again is truly appropriate.

On Thursday, July 22, 2010, the LADWP utility workers cut power from the utility pole on my property to my home for failure to pay utility bills, yet the LADWP continues to hold my retirement and other benefits. Prior to removing power, my Mom, Mrs. Esther M. Lofton, stated this is a civil matter supported by Los Angeles Superior Courts Cases BC 385899, C895188, BS121571.   My Mom, Mrs. Esther M. Lofton, also stated although I am licensed to use a gun and have the right to exercise the 2nd amendment to keep the LADWP and/or others from entering our property, I know that you (LADWP representatives) want to return home safely to your families, and I want to avoid this type of deadly possible life endangering armed confrontation too. 

During the interim, namely this three week period, we used a generator to maintain power to our residence.  It is much more expensive to provide gasoline for a generator supplying power to your home, which only adds more difficult when the LADWP and/or others, hold assets due you, with legal authority and just cause. Again, Los Angeles County 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas was contacted, but to no avail.   The jest of it, “We cannot help you, call the county counsel's office”.  On Thursday, August 12, I, Michael Lofton, climbed the utility pole on our property to reconnect power to our residence.

My Mom, Mrs. Esther M. Lofton, is exercising her 2nd amendment right to bear arms to keep the authorities, The Department of Building and Safety, the LADWP, etc., off of our property.  Should the police, namely the LAPD, the LA County Sheriff’s Department, etc., respond through the use of deadly force,  my Mom made arrangement for me to stay at another location.  Since there is little if any civil law enforcement for Black men, the consequences of a black man exercising his 2nd amendment right, even when he is on the right side of the law, can be very deadly. 

In the event the LAPD responds through the use of deadly force, under conditions that mandate civil law enforcement and not penal law enforcement, in the interest of remaining in the “land of the living”, through the kindness of my Mom's VFW friends, I have safe refuge for a couple of days, these VFW individuals being law abiding, outstanding, and honorable Americans. 

It is hoped that this message is shared with the LAPD and/or others so that more emphasis is placed with civil law enforcement and not penal law enforcement so that my Mom remains in the land of the living, and the principles to which this nation stands, namely the U.S. Constitution and California are equally and adequately enforced, so that the lawful rights of Leon E. Lofton, an honorably discharged disabled WWII veteran, Jr., his widow, Mrs. Esther M. Lofton,  his son Michael Lofton, other the Lofton Family members, Carl Steadman, and/or others, egregiously violated by the atrocities of a government seriously gone awry,  as documented by Los Angeles Superior Court Cases BC 385899, C895188, BS121571 are respected.

Black Elected Officials Affiliated with the Democratic Party are Brain Dead!

"Black Politicians are Brain Dead" is truly appropriate.
 

Elected officials use his or her influence to hold the courts, any public and private organization operating within the U.S., public and private business entities conducting business within his or her jurisdiction, etc., accountable to the U.S. Constitution, a respective State Constitution, and the rule of law. Elected officials primary function is to protect the interest of law abiding taxpaying citizens within his or her jurisdiction. Elected officials who serve illegal immigrants, foreigners, terrorists organizations, known subversives, known criminals, personal family members at taxpayer’s expense are abusing and trashing his or her sworn oath of office.   These characteristics as described which disgrace the essence of what is means to be an elected official is very common, and a fact life as applied to far too many Black elected officials affiliated with the Democratic Party, meaning elected black leaders who fit the description are beyond being “Brain Dead”.

All petitions for redress for the unwarranted, illegal violation of holding my retirement and other benefits, resolution of long standing Los Angeles Superior Court Cases BC 385899, C895188, BS121571, Theft by Court pertaining to Carl Steadman, etc., etc., have fallen on deaf ears, President Barack Obama being inclusive.    Be it via written correspondence, personal appeal before the Los Angeles City Council, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, or otherwise, President Barack Obama, 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas, 10th City Council Herb Wesson, Congresswoman Diane Watson, etc., black elected officials affiliated with the Democratic Party, are a disgrace to the essence of what it means to be an elected official. All elected officials who are sworn under oath and mandated by law to uphold the U.S. Constitution, the California Constitution, the "Bill of Rights"  of all law abiding U.S. citizens, U.S. born Black men, women, and/or his or her siblings being inclusive.  

Amendment XIIINeither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Amendment XIV,  Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

 The 13th and 14th Amendments are especially important for U.S. born descendents of slaves. The  13th and 14th amendment was never intended to benefit illegal immigrants and/or anchor babies of illegal immigrants.

As a 30 year Los Angeles City employee with a clean work record and stellar reputation, whose retirement and other benefits are being held without cause by the LADWP. 

As of Thursday, July 22, 2010, I have been without LADWP provided electricity because the LADWP disconnect electric service from the pole to my home, for failure to pay the LADWP utility bill.   Prior to being disconnect from LADWP utility power, I been denied retirement income from the LADWP without good cause, the only means that I have to pay utility and/or other bills.

To keep my food from spoiling I'm using a gasoline powered generator to supply electricity to my refrigerator and other necessities. In the interim at least one or more of my neighbors have contacted the LAPD.   LAPD Officers have come to residence to ask that I shut off the generator down during night and early morning hours. To keep refrigerated food from spoiling, I must keep this generator running continuously. 

I'm an over thirty year law abiding taxpaying resident of the 10th Los Angeles City and 2nd Supervisorial Los Angeles County District. This is not a police issue. This is a civil matter that requires competent elected official representation to respect my property rights/ Constitutional rights, so that I won't have to use a noisy generator to disturb my neighbors to supply electricity to my home. 

In light of the U.S. Constitution and California Constitutions, a U.S. citizen shall not be denied property rights without good cause. My retirement benefits are property that I have earned through years of service and age. 

On Thursday, August 12, 2010, I, Michael L. Lofton, restored power by climbing a utility pole at the southwest corner of the property.

After belting off with my body parallel to the lower double cross-arm, I reconnected power to the overhead service drop from the pole to my residence.

Thanks to the DWP, I was able to borrow the compression crimping hand tool and compression connectors. My mom,  Mrs. Esther M. Lofton (My Dad and Mom being the only competent representation I, Michael Lofton, have ever had) assisted from the ground to send up tools and supplies as needed.

Caucasian America, the Superior Court of the County of Los Angeles, the LADWP, the LAPD, 1st District Supervisor Gloria Molina, are not my enemies. Elected Black leaders who receive taxpayer’s dollars from law abiding U.S. citizens like me, who ignore and trash the essence of what it means to be an elected official, are in fact an enemy to the U.S. born Black community.  Michael LoftonLeon E. Lofton, Jr., Mrs. Esther M. Lofton, Carl Steadman (Theft by Court), the Anita Shaw family (Supervisor Thomas sided with criminal illegal immigrants at the expense of the Shaw family), and/or any other law abiding Black family who petition his or her black elected official for competent representation and all communication falls on deaf ears, mean the very individuals described  have no business holding elected office.

When Any Citizen is on the Right Side of the Law, Civil Protections Take Precedence Over Police Law Enforcement!

 

As of Thursday, July 22, 2010, I have been without LADWP provided electricity because the LADWP disconnect electric service from the pole to my home, for failure to pay the LADWP utility bill.   Prior to being disconnect from LADWP utility power, I've been denied truly earned retirement income and other benefits earned through 30 years of employment with the City of Los Angeles (28 years and 10 months with the LADWP and one and a half years with the LA Convention Center) without good cause, the only means that I have to pay utility and/or other bills.

Since Friday, July 23, 2010, I have been using a generator to continuously supply electricity to the essential loads here at home.   The essential loads being supplied are for refrigeration, cooking appliances, security lighting, and/or other survival essentials.

CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION, ARTICLE 11 LOCAL GOVERNMENT

SEC. 9.  

(a) A municipal corporation may establish, purchase, and

operate public works to furnish its inhabitants with light, water,

power, heat, transportation, or means of communication. It may

furnish those services outside its boundaries, except within another

municipal corporation which furnishes the same service and does not

consent.

   (b) Persons or corporations may establish and operate works for

supplying those services upon conditions and under regulations that

the city may prescribe under its organic law.

…….meaning when a citizen is on the right side of the law whose retirement benefits and other earned benefits are being withheld with just cause, and the LADWP has egregiously violated the Constitutional rights of the law abiding then the city, specifically the LADWP had no legal authority to cut off power to my residence. (Los Angeles Superior Court Case BS121 571Judge James C. At least one or more neighbors at (home address omitted for privacy), have called the police to report being disturbed by the noise coming from my generator.   Los Angeles Police officers have come by my residence at least five times, in the evening, or before and after midnight.   In each instance my Mom and I have expressed to the LAPD that the LADWP continues to hold substantial earned retirement benefits due Michael L. Lofton, a 30 year employee of the City of Los Angeles. It was also stated that 10th District City Councilman Herb Wesson, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas, and the Superior Court of the County of Los Angeles are also aware of this, meaning this is a "Civil matter" and not a criminal law enforcement issue. (Los Angeles Superior Court Case BS121 571Judge James C. LAPD have suggested that my Mom and I contact our neighbors, to which we have contacted our Korean neighbors to the South, but with good reason neither my Mom or I, intend to contact the residents to the north at ( home address omitted for privacy), the residence of U.S. born and UCLA graduate Dale Pierson who has provided refuge for Ahmed Adan Ahmed and at least a dozen other Somalian illegal immigrants; providing refuge to Somalians not being in the best interest of any U.S. citizen.   In addition,  it was stated that our neighbors to the north, being U.S. born Dale Pierson, Ahmed Adan, and other Somalian illegal immigrants residents at ( home address omitted for privacy) blocked us from removing Palm trees growing on our property, that damaged the main sewage line at ( home address omitted for privacy).   This mandated going to court for the right to remove a date palm tree and other palm trees on our property.    The Los Angeles Superior Court (Case #06M009646: Lofton v. Pierson) ruled in favor of Michael L. Lofton.   To date, Dale Pierson has yet to pay for the expenses incurred to repair the damage to my property, resulting from the interference and infringement on my real property rights on the part of Dale Pierson and the illegal Somalian immigrants residing at (home address omitted for privacy). Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, 10th District City Councilman Herb Wesson, and 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas are also aware of this and to date elected officials of the City and County of Los Angeles have done nothing to hold Dale Pierson accountable for harboring illegal immigrants from Somalia at her residence.

In each instance LAPD officers who arrived, also left with the condition of the generator running remaining unchanged.   Since the LADWP, the City of Los Angeles must also respect the rights of any law abiding citizen whose property (earned retirement and/or other benefits) is being held by the LADWP without just cause, LAPD officers lack legal authority to enforce any law to stop Michael L. Lofton from using a generator to supply power at (home address omitted for privacy).

On Saturday, August 8, 2010, I spoke with Simon Boone a neighbor, who frequents the residence at ( home address omitted for privacy), this residence owned by U.S. born Dale Pierson who has provided refuge for Ahmed AdanAhmed and at least a dozen other Somalian illegal immigrants.   I stated that as a neighbor, whether you like me or not, it would serve you to contact the elected leaders of this jurisdiction and not the police, because this is a civil matter and not a police law enforcement/criminal matter.    I also stated, it is about time elected officials of this jurisdiction uphold his or her oath of office to earn his or her keep, in return for the local, county, property and other taxes that you, I and/or other law abiding taxpaying residents pay to them.

 In response Simon Boone asked, "Is there any way of lowering the volume of the noise of the generator at night".    No and again, it would behoove you and/or anyone else to contact 10th District City Councilman Herb Wesson, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas about your concerns,  because this is a civil matter and not an LAPD law enforcement issue. On Saturday, August 7, 2010, one of my friends at the end of the block informed me that Ahmed Adan Ahmed, an illegal Somalian immigrant who resides at (home address omitted for privacy) confronted him to express his dissatisfaction with me, the noisy generator, and the LAPD officers for not exercising his or her policing authority against my Mom and/or Michael L. Lofton.    It did not work out as Ahmed Adan Ahmed as expected because my friend informed me that he responded by saying running a generator is not a criminal act. This is especially true in this instance because Michael L. Lofton's retirement benefits are being denied without good cause by the City of Los Angeles, specifically by the LADWP.   Instead of wasting your time calling the police about this matter, just like laying on the horn of your vehicle, you should be calling the offices of 10th District City Councilman Herb Wesson, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas, twenty-four- seven

This of friend of mine is also an honorably discharged U.S. Vietnam War Veteran, who believes that elected officials have a responsibility to protect the Constitutional rights of law abiding U.S. citizens, law abiding U.S. born Black people being inclusive.   He stated elected officials and police are under oath to work for law abiding citizens and not against them. He knows like I know that competent and mandated by law elected official representation is severely lacking in the 2nd Los Angeles County District and/or other districts across this nation, as it pertains to Black elected officials working to protect the Constitutional rights of law abiding U.S. citizens, U.S. born Black people being inclusive. If Ahmed Adan Ahmed’s intention was to bring dissention between this friend of mine and I, the foregoing information will prove that Ahmed AdanAhmed did not succeed.

My Dad, Leon E. Lofton, Jr., (deceased July 13, 2003) an honorably discharged disabled "draftee" combat 92nd Infantry (Buffalo Soldier) Veteran of WII, who never received the benefit due his sacrifice, who passed with his integrity intact, would be extremely proud of the chain of events that mandates that President Barack Obama, 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, 10th District City Councilman Herb Wesson, and/or any other elected official uphold his or her oath of office and earn his or her keep.

RUSH: This guy Obama is so out of touch -- he is so devoid of reality, living in such a self created fantasy world, so full of himself and his own lies -- that he's starting to believe all of his own BS.  To go out and campaign at a Ford plant and take credit for their jobs?  They didn't get any bailout money.

Ford is surviving in spite of Obama, as is everybody else in this country who is succeeding.  Whoever is enjoying success, whoever is making a go of it is doing so in spite of Obama.  He's jetting all over the place, his wife is jetting all over the place, ordering special food and special clothes, vacationing every other week. Four vacations in July alone!  See, Obama and his wife don't understand what everyone is complaining about.  They have never had it so good.  They don't want for anything.  They don't even pay for anything.  In fact, they look at it as though they are owed this.  They are owed this.  They have been shafted all of their lives because of racial discrimination, because of being a minority.  This is the first time Michelle Obama is proud of her country, when her husband was running for office.

Now, "Okay, fine, it's our turn." Like Marion Barry said; "Tonight we are the inside."  They are on the inside now, flying all over the country while everyone else is tightening their belts, because they deserve it.  This is owed to them -- and they want to be thanked for all of their efforts on our behalf?  They want our appreciation and adulation?  They want to be thanked far taking your paycheck and giving it to the politicians and bureaucrats who then spread it around like confetti to their friends and special interests?  Another $26 billion for the NEA, another $26 billion dollars to bail out teachers and pensions?  And they want thanks?  They want prays?  They are able to take your money, give it to the SEIU, the NEA, community activists, federal bureaucrats, state bureaucrats, and you dare complain about it?

"How dare you complain, Limbaugh?  Obama is doing great for people.  Yeah! Bush never did this great.  Run against Bush. That's right. Run against Bush and everybody will vote for Obama and vote for the Democrats because they hate Bush."  Right.  The ruling class is out having a party.  The wealthiest three counties in the country right now right are outside Washington D C.  The ruling class is having a big party, partying like never before.  The Obamas are living it up.  Concerts at the White House, top chefs cooking for them, flowing in from all over the country.  Meanwhile, they preach a hatred of capitalism. They preach a hatred against profit.  

They insist that you "sacrifice," that you rebalance and reset your lives, that you adjust, that you realize the salad days are over, that the days of America leading the world economically are over. The days of you getting all kinds of credit card loans and so forth and living a nice life, those days are over.  You have to pay the piper.  Michelle has a beach close down in Spain after taking 40 of her best friends and leasing 60 rooms in a five-star hotel, paid for by you, because they deserve it.  But you have to pay.  You have to pay up.  They preach against capitalism while living off of it.  The Obamas have not done a day's worth of work in their lives to generate this kind of lifestyle for themselves.  

They are living off of you and every one of us.  "What do you mean, Rush?  He wrote a bunch of books."  Okay, he wrote a couple of books.  Even that, a couple of autobiographies by age 40? "Yeah, Rush, yeah. They really sold well."  Okay, fine.  So he had an iron butt for a couple of years to write a couple of books.  I'm not even going to the place where he didn't write them.  The point is they are living a lifestyle they have not earned, and they are living it off the taxpayers while criticizing the very system that enables them to live this way: $100 Kobe Beef as appetizers at White House parties?  The American people do in the like this kind of arrogance.  The American people do not like this kind of ace to crazy.  

The American people will deal with this in November.  So, Mr. Obama and Ms. Borger and the rest of you in the partisan political operative media, if you want to go run around saying that running against George W Bush is a ticket, "That's the ticket," you go right ahead.  You have already demonstrated how out of touch you are with the real people of this country who make it work.  Stocks are tumbling today.  They're down, last I looked at it, to 136.  That is another reason to party.  Happy days are here again! The stock market is down.  Think of all those pension plans and college plans losing value.  Thank you, Mr. President!  Yes, we're just as excited as we can be because of all this great economic news keeps happening.  Happy days are here again!

RUSH: Now, I don't know. You probably haven't heard about this. In the latest Carville-Greenberg poll by James Carville, Stan Greenberg (Democracy Corps is the name of their company), they say that disapproval rates for Obama are now at "revolution levels."  The only question is, are they talking about the American Revolution or the French Revolution.  We have Michelle Antoinette Obama running around Spain.  King Louie Obama the Second is here.  It could be both.  Revolution levels.  Pat Cadell, Democrat pollster and Pat Shoen, Democrat pollster for Clinton, are going on Fox News saying the Democrats had better wake up.  They do not understand what is happening.  (I think a lot of them do.)  There is dissatisfaction with the Democrat Party and it has nothing to do with George W. Bush.  I remember how the State-Controlled Media turned up its nose at Bush's record employment growth.  

They called all those jobs "hamburger-flipping jobs."  People forget that unemployment got down to 4.7%.  This is after September 11.  We came out of a recession and then had 9/11, another mini recession. The Bush tax cuts of 2001-2003 kick in and we have burgeoning economic growth.  Nobody is complaining about the economy at all except the media trying to create in people's minds that we're headed for a recession.  We hit 5% unemployment and they started to talking, "Oh, this is horrible, absolutely horrible! The bottom is falling out."  We're at 9.5% and we have "a weak recovery." (Gasp!)  Isn't that wonderful?  It's 9.5% and there's a future out there.  It's 9.5% and happy days are here again.  All during the 2000s, the first decade of this century, State-Controlled Media was turning up its nose at Bush's record of employment growth. "Eh, they're just hamburger-flipper jobs."  I remember Pelosi specifically running down and making fun of "hamburger-flipper jobs."  These people have a rude awakening coming in November and they know it.

RUSH: I got an e-mail: "Rush, do you remember when you went to the White House for your birthday a couple years ago and Bush hosted you?  You ought to tell that story."  It's in contrast to Michelle (My Belle) Antoinette Obama flying over to Spain, 60 rooms in a five-star hotel paid for by all of us, along with 40 of her friends. Obama with all the parties in the White House, all the Kobe Beef. While everybody else is tightening their belts, the Obamas are living large because they think it's owed them.  Like Marion Barry said once at the Democrat Convention in 1984 when he was mayor of Washington, in San Francisco making a speech: "Tonight we're on the inside." So the Obamas, yeah. Michelle (My Belle) Obama, the first time she was ever proud of her country her whole life was when her husband was running for president.  Now they are in there and taking what they can get.  It's owed them. The story is this.  This was Tuesday January 12, my birthday.  This is the week before Obama was to be immaculated.

The president had me up for one of these farewell lunches. It was in the dining room off the Oval Office.  They had called the day before, a couple days before, asking for my menu selections.  I said, "Well, what do I order? "Whatever you want, Mr. Limbaugh."  So I listed off a couple things, three things.  So we show up, have a little conversation in the Oval Office. It's the president, Ed Gillespie and me.  We move into the dining room.  The stewards come out and start taking everybody's orders.  I said, "Well, I thought I did this three days ago." So they started bringing things that we had not ordered in addition to what I had ordered.  It looked like I was King Henry VIII there. There was food upon food upon food in front of me.  The president tells the steward, "I want a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and make it grape.  I don't want any of that red stuff."  The hated and reviled and out-of-touch George W. Bush ordered a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, "and make sure it's grape.  I don't want any of that red stuff." Meanwhile, here we have the Obamas doing their impersonations of King Louie "Fowteenth" and Marie Antoinette. (interruption)

Well, I took a tour of Versailles once, the Palace of Versailles, and the tour guide spoke broken English, and I found out that in French can't say "four."  So Louie the Fourteenth was Louie the Fowteetnth.  Louie the XIV.  Anyway, the Obamas are up doing this French Revolution business, living large, and Bush was eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  "Grape.  Don't bring me any of the red stuff."  And then when it was all over they brought a birthday cake out. Actually, it wasn't a cake. It was a chocolate microphone, an EIB microphone in the shape, chocolate in the shape of a microphone -- and he and Gillespie are singing happy birthday to me and the White House stewards are singing happy birthday.  It was a microphone.  It was a chocolate microphone, Snerdley.  It was a model of the Golden EIB Microphone.  It was not a cake.  It was chocolate -- and yes, it was a microphone.  It had the microphone boom and everything.  And they brought the guy out who had made it, the chef, the pastry chef. They brought him out and he said hello.  The guy remembered this because it is a good contrast over the way the supposed man of the people Democrats, Obama, and so forth.  These guys have an air tock crazy going on.  The Obamas are doing an aristocracy. I was floored.  I was flabbergasted.  I didn't even know that they knew it was my birthday.  I mean, when they invited me up there, I didn't say, "Oh, yeah, I'd love to come.  By the way, do you know, Ed, it's my birthday?  Hint, hint?"  I don't do that.  I guess at the White House they know everything.  Patriot Act.  Remember, Bush was spying on everybody, intercepting our phone calls.  Remember that? (interruption) Now Obama is spying on e-mails.  I know.  It's fascinating to watch.

RUSH: To Orlando, this is Joe.  I'm glad you waited, sir. You are up on the EIB Network.  Hello.

CALLER:  Hello, Rush. Thank you for everything you do.

RUSH:  I appreciate it, sir.  Thank you.

CALLER:  I just wanted to make a comment that there are a lot of people -- my estimate would be that I probably know ten people -- on unemployment, and I'd say six or seven out of ten are doing side jobs. They're painting people's houses. They're helping people with their docks. They're doing work everywhere. They're working two or three days a week and getting unemployment.  They don't want to get off unemployment.

RUSH:  Yeah, we have see -- actually anecdotally -- a lot of stories about that.  People don't... They are double dipping and enjoying it. They're not having to work as hard. The government keeps extending unemployment benefits.  All of this, by the way, is fine with Obama.

CALLER:  Well, it's happening.  They are taking jobs away from people that if they weren't getting unemployment they would put them back to work, but the people that are running construction companies or something, people are doing so many side jobs that they are not getting the work.

RUSH: Well, part of the reason for this is that employers do not want to take on full-time workers anyway.

CALLER:  That's true.

RUSH:  They want to take on part-timers and that way not pay any health benefits.  They figure they will be off-loading health care any way once Obama care kicks in, so why not go the temporary worker route?  All of this, though, is exactly what Obama wants.  He wants it. He wants this chaos.  He wants people not earning a lot of money.  He wants people working two and three jobs.  He wants the whole wealth creation mechanism in this country to be arrested, which he has done a good job of getting a start on.  Anyway, I appreciate the call, Joe. Thanks much.  Sal in Wallingford, Connecticut, you're next.  Great to have you here.

CALLER:  Yeah, hi.  Please do me a favor.  If you have to hold me over, I have something extremely important to tell you. If you remember right, back in the '80s when Ronald Reagan was president, Mrs. Reagan changed the China in the White House, and the liberal establishment went wild.  They said that she was a spendthrift and she was this and she was that.  Yet Barack Obama's wife goes to Spain with an entourage of about 40 or 50 people, I don't know what it is.

RUSH:  Sixty.

CALLER:  Sixty?

RUSH: Yup.

CALLER: Okay, I'm sorry. I made a mistake.

RUSH:  It's 40 rooms.

CALLER:  Being that you are as intelligent as you are, you would know better than I do.

RUSH:  Exactly.

CALLER: I didn't realize she went with 60.  

RUSH: Sixty people.

CALLER: And guess what she did?

RUSH: Forty rooms.

CALLER: She goes to a hotel and it costs $6,000 a night.

RUSH:  No, no.  Maybe her room does.  The average price is $2,500 a night.

CALLER:  Oh, well, I'm sorry.  I made a mistake.

RUSH:  That is why I'm here.

CALLER:  So $2500 a night.  And you know, I mean, when Mrs. Reagan changed the China, the liberal establishment went wild.  Now, the other thing I wanted to talk to you -- and if you please could hold me over -- it's about you.

RUSH:  Get started.

CALLER:  I have people who say to me, "You know, rush makes in the millions of dollars," and I say to them, "God bless that he makes millions of dollars.  He is entrepreneur.  He is a man who hires people.  He is a person who goes ahead and is an individual who has worked for every penny he has got." You know?

RUSH:  That is true.  That's very true.

CALLER:  I am so upset with this administration.  Here people are dying so far as unemployment is concerned, and people go to Spain and spend $2,500 a night?  What is going on with this country?

RUSH:  Basically what you are asking is: Why isn't there any outrage similar to the outrage in the media over Nancy Reagan changing the China?  Why is there no outage over Michelle (My Belle) Obama with all these expenditures?  She has 60 secret service people, by the way, on this trip to Spain. The answer is patently obvious.  I guess you're also asking: Why is there so much anger over the fact that I have earned what I have? It's as simple as conservative versus liberal.  It's no more complicated than that, and as far as the media is concerned, Mrs. Obama deserves this.  Look at the sorted past, look at our slave past, look at our discriminatory past.  It's only fair that people of color get their taste of the wealth of America too.  

That is your answer.

RUSH: Now, we had a caller moments ago upset that the media is giving Michelle (My Belle) Obama a pass and they really ripped into Nancy Reagan.  Not true.  Last night on the CBS Evening News they covered it. Here is a montage of Sharyl Attkisson the investigative reporter on Michelle Obama trip to Spain.

ATTKISSON: A posh hotel where rooms normally run from $300 to $6,000 a night.  The First Lady's group is said to occupy 60 rooms.  Purely personal parts will be paid for by Mrs. Obama and friends.  Official portions -- the First Lady will visit the king and queen -- will be on the taxpayer's dime.  That includes transport on the Air Force version of a 757: $146,000 for the round trip, not counting four to five days' ground time.  Expenses for Mrs. Obama's support staff and the mandatory Secret Service detail which could number 70 agents, at the $273-a-day federal per diem, that's $95,000 just for Secret Service room and board.  One newspaper called Mrs. Obama "Marie Antoinette."    

RUSH:  That was the New York Daily News.  At least Sharyl Attkisson covered it. I don't know for how long she will be at CBS, but she did do a report on Katie Couric's CBS Evening News about the actual expenses.  Now, since somebody brings up Nancy Reagan and the china, as is the case almost all the time this is unreported, misunderstood, misreported.  State dinners had become so large by the time of the Reagan presidency that none of the China could accommodate the number of guests that they could put in the State Dining Room.  So Nancy Reagan, she did, she ordered over 4,700 pieces of Lenox China which was enough place settings of 19 pieces for 220 people, which is what they can squeeze into the State Dining Room. Now, that I was nearly twice as many place set is as other recent services that they had.  

They just didn't have the numbers to replace them. So she went out and bought new china. She bought American.  Michelle (My Belle) Obama is over in Spain.  Michelle (My Belle) Obama is not stimulating American economy at all.  So we can say here, Nancy Reagan turned to an American company and had them create and sell some White House China that probably cost less than one night of all of Michelle's guests in that hotel in Spain.  But because -- and this should go without saying, but I realize that there is a new tune-in factor and people have these questions.  Even though the answers after 22 years may bore me, they still need to be given.  There's a double standard -- and people on the left (first ladies, presidents, what have you) can't be racist, they can't be bigot, they can't be extravagant.  They are not guilty of anything.  

Everything they are doing is justified and understandable because they are at war with us and we are evil.  They are a genuine aristocracy.  They are no more representatives of the "working people" of America than anybody else is.  But the double standard exists and there's nothing that is going to change it.  There are just... Why do you think it's so easy for me to tweak the media every day?  I mean, I have more fun tweaking the media because I know how they are going to react to something. All I have to do... Look, the media has its templates. They have their narratives.  One of the narratives is that they hate the birthers.  They despise people who raise questions about the fact that Obama hasn't been forthcoming about the place of his birth.  They despise those people.  So all have you to do, all anybody has to do to rev them up, is say, "Hey, it's president Obama's birthday today -- to the extent that we know."

That is all it took and they had a conniption. They had a conniption fit.  See, I know how to tweak these people.  They know I know how to tweak them and they still allow themselves to be tweaked, because the narrative and the template is what is important.  We just had this Clinton wedding. Look how it was portrayed.  It was portrayed as a Camelot kind of wedding.  Was there any problem with the Clintons doing that during these economic times?  No! There wasn't one raised eye brow, there wasn't one frown, there wasn't one expression of, "Gee, that seems a little out of touch." No! In fact, Tina Brown of the daily beast wrote a column of why we all "needed" that wedding, why America "needed" the Chelsea wedding.  Meantime, I got married on June 5 and Elton John was the performer.  

They think they know what it cost, and for a week there was genuine vitriol and anger over the fact.  There was no speculation of why, only condemnation.  There was no intrigue.  There was no interest.  There was no support.  There were no stories about all of the stimulation of the local economy that took place because of the wedding here.  None of that.  No, no, no.  It was mocked and made fun of.  This is just who they are.  Like I say, answering this stuff bores me after 22 years because this is one of the things that isn't going to change.  As long as the media is made up of the people it's made up of, it's not going to change.  My frustration is that if we have people looking for their own validation in the way media reports, you're forever going to be miserable and I'm going to be ticked off answering your questions.

Because you are never, we are never going to have the media on our side.  The media is never going to present our side. The media is never going to represent us properly.  The media is never going to condemn Democrats the way they condemn us.  It isn't going to happen.  If you are waiting around for that to happen as a sign that things are leveling out or that we are winning, then you're going to perpetually think we are losing and we're not.  But some things are what they are.

RUSH:  Journalism long ago stopped being "Who? What? When? Where? Why?"  Journalism today is, "Who is the Republican here?" Journalism is, "Who is the conservative here?"  That's all journalism is.  Now, the UK press is a different store.  The UK Daily Mail is just one example.  They are ripping Obama to shreds in the UK.  "Spanish Police Close Public Beach for Michelle Obama's £250,000 Spanish Holiday." That is $375,000, and it's being paid for by us.  Michelle Obama today faced a fresh wave of attacks over her lavish break in Spain with 40 friends, which could easily cost U.S. taxpayers a staggering [$65,000] a day, and don't misunderstand.  She is not representing America.  She is going to see the king and queen, much like a business man would go a have a meeting to deduct a whole trip.  

This is a vacation. You don't take 40 friends with you on an official trip.  She is on vacation, and we're paying for it.  The UK press is all over it.  They have pictures.  This UK Daily Mail story (you can see it at Drudge) prints out to 12 pages.  It's huge, with all kinds of pictures of the beach that has been cordoned off -- and Michelle's car van of SUVs that she moves around, and pictures of the hotel.  So the UK press, they are laying it on thick.  And by the way, one thing I need to mention about the Reagan China: Taxpayers did not pay for it.  US taxpayers did not pay for the China that Nancy Reagan bought.  It was a gift to the White House Foundation by California friends of the Reagans.  I kid you not.  It was not paid for by the taxpayers

RUSH: Steven in Omaha, it's great to have you on open line Friday, welcome, sir.

CALLER:  Hello, Rush. I'm glad to talk to you.    I'll be real quick.  I had two points to make.  In July of '09 President Obama gave a speech at the NAACP where he went on at great length about the Jim Crow South.  He neglected to mention a few things.  One is that it is a Democrat Party itself which is the party of Jim Crow.    George Wallace, Orval Faubus, Strom Thurman, Fulbright, Bull Connor.  They were all Democrats.

RUSH:  Right.

CALLER:  It is the Democratic Party that is the party of all the whips and the chains and they lynch rope.  It is the Republican Party, which incidentally grew out of the abolitionist movement, which is the party of economic and physical freedom.  The party of Abraham Lincoln.

RUSH:  That is absolutely right.

CALLER:  It's the party of Abraham Lincoln who set the slaves free, and Ronald Reagan which set the economy free.    The second point I'd like the make is that the Democratic Party still feels the same way about black Americans today as they did as they did in the Antebellum South.  They just use different methods of control.  They can no longer physically control blacks.  So they use economic methods to keep them in line.  They still feel that blacks need to be controlled and suppressed, that they can't quite make it on their own.  This accounts for things like affirmative action, which has become a permanent program, and welfare.  They just feel blacks can't make it on their own, that they need to be controlled, suppressed and help them along.

RUSH: I can't disagree with any of it.

CALLER:  That is all I want to say.

RUSH:  No, I can't disagree with any of it.  I have been saying it for 20 years.    They have done more than just keep them poor.  The Democrat Party has blown up the black family.  The Democrat Party has destroyed it.  The Democrat Party has allowed the dissolution of the nuclear family in the black community.  The Democrat Party purposely -- and it's not just the blacks. It's every constituent group they have. Dumb them down, keep them poor, keep them dependent, and somehow use the media to blame the Republicans for all these people's lot in life.  Blame the Republicans for it.    The guy is exactly right.  All these were Democrats in the civil rights days that opposed civil rights. They were Democrats. Bull Conner, Democrat. Lester Maddox, Democrat. George Wallace, Democrat. J. William Fulbright, Democrat.

If it wasn't for a greater percentage of Republican senators in 1964 voting for the Civil Rights Act than Democrats, it would not have passed. Robert Byrd, an actual Grand Kleagle, was a Democrat in good standing and at his funeral Bill Clinton goes out there to do a eulogy and says (impression), "Yeah, there are some things that Bob did in his past he wasn't proud of.  But look where he came from.  He came from the hills and hollers o'West Virginia. You know, he made some mistakes and spent the risk of his life atoning for those.  But I tell you what: He had to get elected.  He became a member of the Klan for you!  He didn't want to become a member of the Klan but he knew that is what he had to do to get elected in the racist state of West Virginia."

Clinton didn't use those words but he did say (impression), "Uh, he had to get elected. He came from the hills and the hollers of West Virginia! Everybody knew the Klan was running around that state.  What do you think he is going do, Limbaugh, in order to get elected?  He's got to run!  He's gotta go out and join the Klan! He to get elected in order to do his good work of supportin' health care." So they will go out of their way to eulogize and excuse KLAN MEMBERS, and somehow always end up blaming the Republicans for being the racists and the sexists. The plantation days are still alive and thriving.  The white plantation is still alive.  It's just that it's in Washington and being run by the Democrats.  There's no question about it.  This guy is absolutely right.  I'm glad to hear somebody actually call and actually say it besides me.  It may be taking hold out there.

Law Abiding U.S. Citizens, Meaning the People Rule This Nation and Not Elected Officials!

Hello America. 

I Michael Lofton, am the son of Leon E. Lofton, Jr., an honorably discharged disabled draftee combat Veteran of WWII. My Mom, Mrs. Esther Lofton, is the widow of Leon E. Lofton, Jr., My Dad, Mom, and I, are U.S. citizens by birthright.

I come to you today, as a 30 year Los Angeles City employee with a clean work record, whose retirement and other benefits are being held without cause by the LADWP. 

As of Thursday, July 22, 2010, I have been without LADWP provided electricity because the LADWP disconnected electric service from the pole to my home, for failure to pay the LADWP utility bill.   Prior to being disconnected from LADWP utility power, I’ve been denied retirement income from the LADWP without good cause, the only means that I have to pay utility and/or other bills.  Like many other members of the working class, I don't have access to a money tree in my backyard, or any wealthy heirs that I can call upon for any source of income.

To keep my food from spoiling I'm using a Homelite 3500 gasoline powered generator to supply electricity to my refrigerator and other necessities. In the interim at least one or more of my neighbors have contacted the LAPD.   LAPD Officers have come to my residence to ask that I shut off the generator down during night and early morning hours. To keep refrigerated food from spoiling, I must keep this generator running continuously. 

I'm an over thirty year law abiding taxpaying resident of the 10th Los Angeles City and 2nd Los Angeles County Districts. This is not a police law enforcement issue. This is a civil matter that requires competent elected official representation and/or  “Equal Justice and Protection Under the Law” as it pertains to the Superior Court for the County of Los Angeles, to respect my property rights, so that I won't have to use a noisy generator to disturb my neighbors to supply electricity to my home

Article 1, Section 7, of the California Constitution states: " A person may not be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law or denied equal protection of the laws...." and Article 1, Section 26 states: " The provisions of the constitution are mandatory and prohibitory, unless by express words they are declared to be otherwise".

"There are cases when an individual has been wrongfully treated by his government andabout the only way, unless the individual resorts to court, and even in some cases thecourts are not able to give proper relief, the only area or avenue open to the individual isthrough his representative.  When you find a bona fide error has been made, I suggest thatyou make a maximum effort to remedy it.  This I feel is a vital and important function ofthose of us in the House of Representatives."

Contrary to this response to date, former President of the Los Angeles City Civil Service Commission Sylvia Drew Ivie whose job classification is Administrative Assistant for Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas, 2nd District Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas, nor has any member of Supervisor Thomas’s office done anything to resolve this issue or any other issue presented as it concerns Mrs. Esther M. Lofton, Michael Lofton, Carl Steadman, Theft by Court (Theft by Court), Los Angeles Superior Court Case BS121 571Judge James C. CALLER:  Congratulations on your wedding.  This is my comment.  It's been said that blacks can't be racist because they have no power.  I say that, since we now have the first black president of the United States, the most powerful president, person in the world. We have Shirley, who's been over a white farmer's land, and she's had power over that land 20 some years ago. We have Oprah Winfrey and on and on and on, lots of power. I think we now have power and we can also be considered racists.  That is my comment.

CALLER:  This is what I've been looking at.

RUSH:  Yeah.

CALLER:  I think this is what's been going on, why there's been so much of a problem.  A lot of blacks think they can't be racist, because we have no power.  Well, now we have the power and apparently what comes with it is racism.

RUSH:  You're exactly right.  That was a concoction of the Reverend Jackson to excuse the racism.

CALLER:  Exactly.

RUSH:  He knows full well there's black racism out there.  This was just to prevent any criticism of it.

CALLER:  Exactly.

RUSH:  Yeah, exactly right.  You and I are on the same page.

CALLER:  Well, great!  I'm on the same page with Rush Limbaugh.  Great.

RUSH:  Thanks very much, Connie, appreciate it.

CALLER:  Okay.

RUSH:  I got another e-mail here during that call.  I'll have three captains' resumes by five o'clock this afternoon.  Thank you.

RUSH: West Hills, California, Priscilla, nice to have you on the program.

CALLER:  Oh, Rush, thank you so much.  I can't tell you how much I appreciate you.  I've been listening to you since the nineties and when you were on TV.  You make my day, and I just want to tell you that I'm praying for you every day.  It's like your mind, everything you say, I agree with 100%.

RUSH:  Thank you very much.  I appreciate that.

CALLER:  What you say is totally on point.  I'm a person of color.

RUSH:  Oh.

CALLER: 
And I'm offended by a lot of the things that's going on, and I want you to be my representative.  You speak for me.

RUSH:  God bless you.  Thank you so much.

CALLER:  As an American, I love this country, I love you, and I just wish you'd go back on TV, but you, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, I don't know what I'd do if it weren't for you guys.  So just keep up the good work and know that this is one person of color that's behind you 100% and I pray for you every night like I do my family.

RUSH:  Thank you very, very much.

CALLER:  Thank you so much.  God bless you, and congratulations on your marriage.  Congratulations on just being able to speak.  You speak your mind, and I love that about you.

RUSH:  Thank you very much.  You've made my day.

CALLER:  Okay.

RUSH:  Appreciate it.  Now, why do you wish I was back on television?

CALLER:  Oh, because I love you.  I mean back then it was in the nineties, '94, '93 whatever --

RUSH:  Right, a long, long, long, long time ago.

CALLER:  I'll tell you something, Sean Hannity, there are certain people that are telling the truth and there's a lot of people that need to know it.  People of color just need to wake up and stop being, you know, carried by Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and Maxine Waters and all those people.  You know, there is no excuse for none of us.  No excuse.  We're all Americans.  I don't have another country to go to.  I was born and raised here.  This is my country.  And I love it.  And I love the Tea Party.  I love what you stand for, Sean Hannity, the morals and values and everything.  I'm so sick and tired of, you know, black persons saying that they speak for black people.  They don't speak for me.  You are my voice.

RUSH:  It is kind of insulting, isn't it, that all of you are monolithic, that you all think the same thing and there's only two people that can speak for you?  Well, three: Obama, Jackson, and Sharpton.

CALLER:  That's offensive to me.  And I agree with Connie.  I mean I am so proud of what she had to say.  I can't tell you how proud I am because there's no excuse anymore.  Kobe, Shaq, Oprah, multimillionaires and billionaires, black people.  So no white man is holding the black man down anymore.  That is just not true.  And no white person has to pay for what took place back during slavery time.  You know, that happened, it's over with, it's done.

RUSH:  I've tried explaining this to journalists and they just don't understand it.

CALLER:  No, they don't want to accept it.

RUSH:  You know, I've had journalists say to me, "Can't you understand why black people don't like July 4th as a holiday?  Can't you understand why black people still get mad on a day of American independence because it wasn't a day of independence for them? Can't you relate to why black people would still have a chip on their shoulder about the country?"  And I say, "Not today."  We all have to get over it.  You know, I wanted to buy a part of the St. Louis Rams, and I wasn't allowed to for what reason?  Why?  Because of what I think and because of quotes that were made up.  Now, if anybody should be bitter about something, it ought to be me.  I don't hate my country for what happened to me.

CALLER:  Right.

RUSH:  It happened.  You deal with it.  But, you know, this notion that there is a justifiable reason to institutionally hate the country for anybody born in it in the last 50 years, escapes me.

CALLER: 
Well, Rush, let me tell you one more thing.  I don't thank God for slavery, but I thank God that I was not born in Africa.  I'm not an African-American.  I'm offended by that also.  I'm an American.  I've never been to Africa, you know, so I thank him for us being here and having an opportunity in this country, and my forefathers were brought over here from Africa, wherever, and gave us an opportunity to be Americans and to be free.  I wouldn't want to be in Africa as most of the country -- you see how people, the shape that they're in.  Thank God for America.  And thank God for you.  I wish that you were running.  I wish that you were president.

RUSH:  So do I.

CALLER:  I really do.

RUSH:  You're very sweet.  You're very kind.  I cannot thank you enough from the bottom of my heart, I really do.

CALLER:  And you are right, there are racists, there are black racists, there are racists in all races, you know, I mean some people are prejudice, some are prejudiced against their own people for whatever reason, they're not, how do you say, Obama called them academia.

RUSH:  Academia, yeah.

CALLER:  Yeah.  

RUSH:  The elites.

CALLER:  Yeah.

RUSH:  The ruling class, right.

CALLER:  Exactly.  Exactly.  Some of us have common sense, and a lot more of us need to listen to more people like you and Sean and really basically a lot of black people need to just go ahead and stop being sheep.

RUSH:  From your mouth to their ears.  Anyway, Priscilla, thank you very much for the call.  I really appreciate it.

RUSH: Here's Deborah in Bloomfield, Michigan.  I'm glad you called.  Welcome.

CALLER:  Hi, Rush.  Thanks for taking my call.

RUSH:  Yes, ma'am.

CALLER:  I have two quick comments.  The first one to, I believe her name was Priscilla, God bless her.

RUSH:  Isn't that true?

CALLER:  The lady that spoke right before me, she represents a lot of my friends that are black, that feel very strongly that the way this country's going is very bad, and I think part of the problem is we don't have strong representation in the Republican Party that can counter like you do.  I wish you were in the Republican Party, or I don't even care if it's Republican or independent.  You know, I just want to see somebody that can take over and represent our country the way it should be and the way it has been in the past.  And she is the epitome of many of my black friends, and what surprises me, they were liberal, you know, but now they're starting to open their ears and they're open to discussion, whereas my white liberal friends, you can't even talk to them.

RUSH:  Well, they're a lost cause.  They're possessed with such guilt that you're never going to straighten --

CALLER:  They're wrong.  I think they know they're wrong.  You know?  And so they can't admit that.

RUSH:  Well, then they're gutless.

CALLER:  Yeah.  They are.  I believe so.  And the black people are actually more open to discussion, you know?  And that's why I say, bless Priscilla, I hope she spreads the word to just be open-minded.  That's all I ask people because this is guaranteed --

RUSH:  Well, Deborah, there's something happening out there.  There's an effervescence that is the Tea Party's tip of the iceberg, but it's happening out there.  You just don't see it because the flacks for the ruling class in the Ministry of Lies don't deal with it and don't tell you what's going on.  But Priscilla and people like you are not alone.  There are gazillions of you out there.
